Meet Denise StrengerDenise has been teaching fitness for 15 years. She specializes in Pilates and is Balanced Body Certified in Mat, Pilates Reformer, and Pilates Chair in addition to many other group fitness formats. She developed a standing Pilates workout done with resistance bands that she calls Pilates Reform and Sculpt. This workout was featured as the 2014 Workout to Try in Woodbury Magazine.
Denise has a strong relationship with Delmonico Dance where her daughter danced for many years. She has been the head of their fitness program and has taught Pilates to their dance population for more then eight years. She is a guest faculty teacher in New York City at Joffrey Ballet School every summer and specializes in working with dancers as they return to sport following injury. She has a strong relationship with local dance therapists. She specializes in teaching body awareness and helping dancers understand the connection to the core in dance. She is honored to be part of a training program in New York City with Cary Reagan, a third generation Pilates instructor and former professional dancer.
As a Master level instructor with more then 15,000 hours of teaching, she is proficient at working with people at all levels. Denise is a tenured Sociology Instructor at Dakota County Technical College and is currently obtaining her second graduate degree in Integrative Health and Wellness Coaching from the University of Minnesota.

Meet Sandy LammerSandy graduated from St. Ambrose University in Davenport, IA with a Bachelors Degree in Biology and Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy. She is certified as a personal trainer with NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine), a certified wellness coach with NETA (National Exercise Trainers Association) and work full time as a Health Coach. Sandy has been teaching fitness for the past 3 years in a group training format that emphasizes full body strength, cardio, & tabata formats. Sandy is so excited to join DelMonico fitness and looks forward to working with all of you in the future!
Sandy is the youngest of 3 with two older brothers and grew up playing sports and competed on teams through high school and then retired to intramural sports in college. In college she was able to recognize her strengths and pursue her passion of helping people, continuing on this path Sandy has found that personal training & fitness is an area where she can really help those that want to make changes and achieve their goals.
Sandy is married to Tom and have 3 kids (Claire-11, Joe-8, and Katie-6). They moved to Minnesota at the end of May 2013 for Tom’s job at 3M. She has lived in the Midwest her entire life – having grown up in Illinois and went to college in Iowa and now lives in Minnesota. Sandy enjoys spending time with family and friends, being active, and reading.
