Meet Denise StrengerDenise has been passionate about exercise for the past 15 years. She has been teaching at DelMonico since 2010 and enjoys working with people at all levels including dancers and athletes of all genres. She enjoys the benefits of cross-training and challenging your fitness level, while treating yourself well.Her fitness passions include: group fitness, spinning, triathlon and duathlon training and her love of Pilates. She enjoys rehabilitation work using Pilates for dancers, athletes and any individual who has been affected with injury or needs core strength in order to prevent injury and promote personal fitness. Denise and her clients have found that Pilates teaches body awareness, good posture and easy, graceful movement. Pilates improves flexibility, agility and economy of motion. You can personally intensify each workout as your body conditioning improves. Denise is certified in Pilates Mat, Pilates Chair and is a Pilates Reformer Master Trainer with more than 15,000 hours of training and teaching. It is her passion to help all levels and abilities experience the benefits of Pilates.
Since her time at DMD she has been able to develop a popular class she calls Pilates Reform and Sculpt. This class incorporates resistance bands that are hung from the ceiling and used to awaken every muscle as you use barre and standing Pilates exercises to strengthen your entire body for a very functional workout. She loves offering our boutique members a one of a kind experience in whatever class they are able to attend with education, attention to details, and mindful awareness of whole body health.
Denise obtained her Primary Nutrition Certification in 2008. After years of helping clients find their balance and be their best self with nutrition, she took it to the next level. She is currently obtaining a 2nd Master’s degree in Integrative Health and Wellness Coaching from the University of Minnesota.
Denise has also enjoyed being a part of organizing several fitness-based charity events. She is a Sociologist and Criminologist Professor. She lives in Woodbury with her husband and two children.

Meet Sandy LammerSandy graduated from St. Ambrose University in Davenport, IA with a Bachelors Degree in Biology and Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy. She is certified as a personal trainer with NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine), a certified wellness coach with NETA (National Exercise Trainers Association) and work full time as a Health Coach. Sandy has been teaching fitness for the past 3 years in a group training format that emphasizes full body strength, cardio, & tabata formats. Sandy is so excited to join DelMonico fitness and looks forward to working with all of you in the future!
Sandy is the youngest of 3 with two older brothers and grew up playing sports and competed on teams through high school and then retired to intramural sports in college. In college she was able to recognize her strengths and pursue her passion of helping people, continuing on this path Sandy has found that personal training & fitness is an area where she can really help those that want to make changes and achieve their goals.
Sandy is married to Tom and have 3 kids (Claire-11, Joe-8, and Katie-6). They moved to Minnesota at the end of May 2013 for Tom’s job at 3M. She has lived in the Midwest her entire life – having grown up in Illinois and went to college in Iowa and now lives in Minnesota. Sandy enjoys spending time with family and friends, being active, and reading.
